Woo! Thanks gang......!  Kiss

I got an iPod - very nice for gadget freak like me, and now full of photos, videos and books.

From Linda and Stephen I got a hand with running my mad gang, and a good time was definitely had by the dogs, despite the FC having churned up most of the trails in the part of the forest we usually use.  Cry Us humans were frozen stiff and covered in mud, but there were lots of smiley faces and waggy tails, which is always nice to see.

I finished the day with my present to myself which was half a bottle of sparkling Pinot Grigio, and very nice it was too!  Grin

sounds like fun.  Shame I missed it.  Lets hope the FC get the trails sorted in time for the rally in March.

It's not just about how quick, it's about how far

i'm guessing it is a technicalisty as you can enter NSDSC rally without membership as long as you have £5m insurance.

Are the FC going to do some work on the trails before the NSDSC rally? It would be really lovely of them, but they are obviously doing a fair bit of harvesting at the moment.

Elf Hill is pretty much impassable at the moment, and Hill of Three Stones is very muddy and a bit rutted around the quarry. The connecting trail between Three Stones and Trusta is definitely not passable with a van, although you could get a rig through.

I ran Finglennie at the weekend and it was fine, and the tree that was down across the Trusta trail has been removed, so as long as you don't go via Three Stones you would be fine to join Finglennie to Trusta and so run both of those.

That's Elf Hill - it's basically unusable. Linda tried to drive up there at the weekend and couldn't get any further than the bottom of the hill.  Cry
