Hey guys just thought i would let youz know about my plans to compete in the Iditarod in 2010

After hooking up with former Iditarod champion Dean Osmar earlier this year he has agreed to be my mentor for the last great race on earth.

The plan is to go to Alaska in January 2009 and compete in 2 qualifiers probly the Copper Basin 200 and the Klondike 300 then start training for the Iditarod in December 09 thru to the race itself in march 2010.

This is a fantastic opportunity to raise some funds and i have chosen 3 charities to benefit.

60% to clic sargent who provide care and support for children and youngsters with cancer  www.clicsargent.org.uk

20% to SSPCA  www.scottishspca.org

20% to scottish siberian husky club welfare  www.scottishshc.org.uk

Im currently seeking corporate sponsorship to cover some of the cost of the trip so if any one out there has any suggestions please feel free to drop me a line.

Im also looking for support from anyone who could get a sponsor form filled in for me so if you can help just give me a shout
all i ask is 1p yes 1p per mile

you can keep an eye on my fund raising progress by checking out my web site www.iditarod2010.vpweb.co.uk and of course all the race info you need on the main web site www.iditarod.com

So please help me to help others.
