Yes, they would be eligible to be registered with ConKC as SSSDs.

My original point ( which looking back I now realise I failed to actually type in my first reply) was that I don't see the point in crossing Sibes to Alaskans. The good Alaskan dogs have the attributes that "people" say the Sibe brings to such a mating, good feet, arctic coat.....
If I was going that route, then I'd buy the best Alaskan bitch I could afford, have her mated to the best recommended Alaskan stud  and go with those puppies.

I think you (as in us, everyone, not you in particular  )  need to look at what you do with your dogs, why you have them and what matters most to you. Actually, I think I'll go off and start a new thread.........

my personal view on it is that i think there is something magic about the siberian and i hope this remains so.
 i think the same as you peter and have to say i also dont see the point in crossing a sibe with an alaskan or any other type of dog if people are looking to preserve the siberian.
 whilst the siberian helped shape the alaskan i dont think the favour needs returned
