I guess either we're trying to sell our van at the wrong time of year and if it's to expensive then someone please make us a sensible offer and it'll be seriously considered.

My only other thought was is the rising cost of fuel to blame for our van still standing on the drive yearning for adventure and a new chapter in it's life....

To be honest having sold a van this spring I think it is probably a combination of things, autumn is when people really start thinking of dog vans, and fuel is a big problem and getting bigger.   We have an estate car we don't use that we may have to virtually give away on ebay.  Going by what i saw looking for a replacement van in January yours may be a bit high price for the age.

Our P reg low milage transit went for £1400 and we expected £800 if we were lucky.  We stripped it out so it appealed to several buyers and they tried to outbid each other.  Cages limit it a bit.  A sprinter may be worth a bit more but not sure about older ones, often people who have less money want something cheaper to maintain so actually prefer a Transit.   May be it would be worth trying ebay, wider market, dog walkers and such.

Hi All,

Just to let you know our SWB Sprinter has now been SOLD.

It went to a lovely couple with Siberians and I'm sure they'll appreciate all the extras that came with it....

We did have lots of interest and we were surprised it didn't sell sooner-but the main factor for everyone was the availability of ready cash with the current credit crunch. (So to anyone in the same position as us be patient and the right person will come along eventually.)
