Due to a separation, John Patchett, Berwick-Upon-Tweed is having to rehome the majority of his dogs. These are fantastic working dogs with a few oldies thrown in requiring caring pet homes.

There is one dog who is almost 2 years of age and 2 dogs and a bitch who are almost 3 years of age. These have been working well and 3 of them regularly run lead on the 6-dog teams and in training on the 12-dog teams.

There are also 3 bitches and 2 dogs who are 7-year olds and one 9-year old bitch. All of these are still working well and have been running on successful 6-dog teams this sesaon and have also worked very successfully in Europe on snow in the past.

The "oldies" are 11 years old and there are 3 needing loving pet homes to live out the rest of their days with some TLC.

Please contact Liz & Mike Rigg for further details.

There are also 4 hounds needing good homes.

3 out of these 4 hounds won the 3-dog open class at Drumlanrig Castle, last year and the year before.

There is one dog and one bitch at 3 years of age, and one dog and one bitch at 4 years of age.

Again, please contact Liz & Mike Rigg for further details.

Could I ask what lines the Siberians are from? I assume that their breeders, their sires' owners and the owners of their grandparents know they are looking for homes?

How terribly sad that this has happened - it must be an awful situation for all concerned.
