i think its terrible when someone has to give up doing something they love so much,and for what?a few vindictive people out for there own good?

Hopefully the penny has finally dropped with these characters after Quithel.  Did they honestly think folk would just stand back and let them try and tear Ewan's reputation to shreds - I think not.  Ewan is well respected by very many people and not just among the husky fraternity and it is a respect that has been built up over years by good deeds, hard work and how you treat your fellow man.  Respect has to be earned not demanded and is alas, a lesson which many people who sit on committees find hard to comprehend.

I've no doubt Ewan will "rise like a phoenix from the ashes" and put his talents to good use in some other worthy cause backed by real friends he can trust!

Well said Rachel, I am in total agreement. 

I had a great time at Quithel and so did Ewan, the support we got was just amazing, thanks to everyone and at least we know who our real friends are, roll on next season.  We will be doing a few fundraisers over the spring/summer months so if anyone is interested in helping out please get in touch.  All the best and have a good spring/summer and see you all soon.

I obviously don't know the politics behind this but why not fundraise for another sibe welfare in the meantime? You're well conected with SSHC and SHWUK Ewan, why not help them out?

Hi Angie, cheers and it is all unfounded, but it has got so rediculous that I have had to get my lawyer to send multiple letters to them    I am going back to fundraising the way I have done for the past many years, prior to thinking that setting up a charity was a good idea, but has just turned into a power trip, or something, for those that are left, sp now committee's and just good times for those involved

Hi folks,

would just like to say that our intention is to continue with our fundraising, but just today we lost an event that we were doing to raise funds for the SSHC  welfare because of nasty unfounded letters being sent out by a certain charity about my husband.  As this charity was set up to help the club welfare schemes and was my idea, I would like to know how these people that are involved in bad mouthing  my husband can sleep at night, also knowing that they are taking money away from the very groups that they are meant to help by continuing with this rubbish.  I could say so much more but as our lawyer is dealing with it and also external investigators, I will leave it at that, don't want to stoop to other folks childish behaviour.

So far we have rehomed 189 (around 70%more than the GB club) dogs and have 11 waiting to come in, We are over the moon to have Ewan and Bridget onboard, For a new breed rescue like us we have shown what can be done if we all pull together,
Wish there were more Snopeaks in the world, then the dogs would stand a better chance,

I know he does help you with rehoming etc. I was just pointing out that if he wished to continue to fundraise he could help out other orgs financially as well. I don't if he does or not, just a suggestion for someone who is passionate about helping the breed in everyway possible. Shame not to keep the cash rolling in when there is someone willing to do all that work. 

I just cant believe the nerve of some people. It is one thing to accuse someone of wrong doing to their face (true or not) but they are starting to walk on very thin ice when the write to outside organistations accusing a person of something that is at the very least up-proven and at worst down right lies.

it is basically libel and they can get the pant sued off them for doing this.

and i would just like to add, Ewen,  I dont believe a word of it!!
