I can safely say that despite the sammy being a gorgeous girl, she has never ever been worked and is unlikely to be so!!  At least Lisa when doing the interviews did mention the gob problem which sams have  Grin although what she didn't say is that if you work on them from day one then they do get better.  What she also did not say is how destructive they can be - no problems with matching sibes there I think!!! And no a lot of families find the boys very difficult to deal with especially when they go through their teenage macho stage - most sams in rescue are boys guess what age between 1-3!

There was an absolutely gorgeous russian sammie bitch in the ring though as well.  What a beauty.

However, you're right sams are now flavour of the month the hits on the website went up several 100% after the result and we are now getting lots of enquiries for one of those cute white fluffy things!!! Huh

We'd worked through the worst of the puppy farms in the UK with sams now I guess they'll be back in business.  It'll be interesting to see how many sams are registered with the Kennel club this year - it was only 300 or so last year.  Anyone willing to bet on what it'll be this year???

White fluffy huskies....lordy what ever next  Shocked

On a more serious note the decline in some dog breeds (like the Basenji) is so sad when others are being so overbred its unbelievable!!  Cry

Sibes are not replacements for kids they are much, much more important than that!
