It's not just about how quick, it's about how far

On Monday we sent Inka across the Rainbow Bridge.
Our lovely, demanding, hard headed, bossy, occasionally grumpy, always hard working, star of a dog. Thursday, she stopped eating. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't swallow even the mushiest mush we could make. Monday, the vet was called to our home. Monday, I cradled her in my arms as she died. For one last time,I was able to tell her how much I loved her and what a special dog she was.

Inka was one of only two Markovo Seppalas in the UK.
Another link to the past gone.
Another star shining in the night skies.

We must protect the forests for our children, grandchildren and children yet to be born. We must protect the forests for those who can't speak for themselves such as the birds, animals, fish and trees.

What a shock, Peter!

We're very sorry to hear that - Inka was a beautiful girl.

I didn't know her Peter but I am so sad for your loss.

She is the second one ( a friend of ours lost one of theirs ) that has gone North Of The Rainbow Bridge on Monday.

For all the love and joy they bring, there's a price to pay. It never gets any easier, and I would never want it to. If I can bear to lose one of my dogs and not feel it deep in my heart and soul, then I will have lost that which drew me to them in the first place.
