we are looking for a handler/possibly two for the 07/08 season. Alba Racing Kennel is situated in Kuusamo, Northeastern Finland and provide safaris for tourists ranging from 10km to 3 days. This is how we make our living but our main passion is racing!
2006 we won the Finnish middle distance championships
2007 we were 2nd in the Finnish middle distance championships and we won the long distance championships. This year we will be training specifically for the Finnmarkslöpet 500km.  We have 53 Alaskans with 2 litters due in 8 weeks.

we all help in the day to day chores of the kennel so you are not left cleaning poo all day
I'm really looking for someone who can work the whole winter ( November-April) can handle the cold and would love the experience of working with top canine athletes in an Arctic enviroment. Last season the dogs ran 3000km on snow.
For those of you who don't know me, I came to Finland in 2001 with my 3 Sibes to be a  handler for 6 months, experience the Arctic then return to Scotland. After 6 years hard work, we are now competing in top events and what was my hobby is now my full time business. So don't dream about it, just do it
