There is a sponsored walk being organised up Ben Lomond for the 19th of May 2007.  It's to raise funds for Sled Dog Welfare.  Please watch this space for further details on times and where to get your sponsor sheets from.  You can bring along your dog if you wish but please be aware of temperatures, and make sure you have plenty water for you and your four legged friends.

If you email an electronic copy to all of us we can copy them as many times as needs be. Need to start now to get a decent number of folk involved and get a decent number of sponsors.

Good idea, will do that or rather I will get Cathy to as I don't have PDF at the moment.  All that I ask is that you keep a note of the numbers you hand out for me as I need to have some idea of how many folks will be there.

roughly about 3200ft  Grin Grin

ya wit - that's more like the height.

Once source I have states the following :-
Height 974m or 3,195ft in old money  Wink
The ascent is 1,010m (3,300 ft) which is more than the height  Shocked
Distance is 7 miles (11km)
It takes about 5 1/2 hours, but for you masochists out there, the Ben Lomond race record, up and down, stands at just over 1 hour (1987)  Cool
